Our client is looking for an Airfreight Import Coordinator

The role includes Creating and maintaining customer standard operating procedures Having a clear financial understanding of each job file(s) within your remit Providing accurate and timely reports to department manager Having ownership and taking accountability to deliver operational excellence Ensuring that a 'customer is king' ethos is always applied in actions for the business Delivering accurate and timely paperwork in relation to the creation and issuance of import documentation Demonstrating commercial acumen and an in depth understanding of the P&L of a job Freighting and Invoicing Creating operational reports and ensuring that anomalies are escalated appropriately Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers, airlines & overseas partners/agents Ensuring that Company policies and procedures are adhered toPerson specification Airfreight forwarding experience essential Must have knowledge and experience of customs Strong work ethic A 'can do' attitude is applied with all communications Cargowise experience highly beneficialThe hours are 09:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday

Salary c£35K depending on experience
